The Founder’s Journey
A founder’s encounter. A mission that followed.
emfMax began as Choizya in 2013, founded by Max Chua after a personal encounter with the health consequences of long-term electromagnetic exposure. What started as a private search for answers quickly became a professional calling: translating the physics of radio frequencies, dirty electricity, and magnetic fields into something a family could actually act on.
From a single Singapore home visit to thousands of residential and commercial assessments across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, Max has spent over a decade building the region’s most practised EMF safety practice — one informed by engineering-grade meters, real-world case studies, and tight relationships with shielding manufacturers and health professionals.
In 2024, Choizya evolved into emfMax. The new name reflects a sharper promise: maximum clarity in detection, maximum rigour in assessment, maximum effectiveness in mitigation. Same founder, same standards, modernised for a 5G world.
