About this shielding solution
Shielding paint is the retrofit hero of EMF mitigation. Instead of tearing down walls to install metal foil, you apply this carbon-pigment paint like any primer — two coats, standard roller — and then overpaint with your chosen decorative emulsion. The wall looks normal, but the embedded carbon particles form a conductive layer that attenuates 40 to 50 dB across both ELF and RF frequencies.
One critical step: the paint must be grounded properly. emfMax supplies the copper grounding strip that connects the painted surface to your electrical earth. Without grounding, the paint still blocks RF but won’t properly discharge ELF fields. We’ll walk through the grounding setup in the technical data sheet, or you can have Max coordinate with your painter.
